Fungi-Nail Products

Toe fungus is a fungal skin infection that can affect the areas on or around your toes such as the cuticles, the skin around your nail edges and tips, and the areas in between your toes.

Symptoms include:

  • Itching
  • Burning
  • Redness of the affected areas
  • Peeling and cracking of the skin.

Athlete’s foot is a fungal infection affecting the skin between the toes and can be on the bottom and sides of the feet. It is also called tinea pedis.

Remove the cap of the pen. Twist base with brush pointing upward to saturate brush. If you do not hear a click, turn the other way. First time use may require up to 40 twists to initiate product flow. For subsequent applications twist only as needed to saturate brush.
Apply Fungi-Nail® around the cuticle, on the skin along the edges of your nail, and underneath the tip of the nail where accessible with the applicator twice a day.

The statement you are referring to (not effective on scalp or nails) is one that’s required by the FDA on all over-the-counter antifungal products. If you think you have nail fungus or scalp fungus contact your doctor. Fungi-Nail products are intended to be applied to the skin on the toes and around the toenails.

Fungi-Nail starts to work on contact. It is applied twice a day for 4 weeks, and visible effects should be seen within that time. Results may vary depending on the severity of the fungal infection as well as the potential for reinfection.

Currently, Fungi-Nail is available in the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Nail polish can be applied AFTER treating with Fungi-Nail. Since treatment area may be close to the nail, it is best to apply to the affected areas where the adjacent nails have no nail polish; therefore, nail polish should be removed prior to each application of Fungi-Nail. After application and area is fully dried, nail polish can be applied.

To receive a refund, please mail in a copy of the store receipt, the UPC bar code and a brief note stating your reasons for requesting a refund. Once received, it will take about 4-6 weeks to receive a refund check in the mail.

Fungi-Nail products are available nationwide in stores and online at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Target, Rite Aid, Duane Reade, most drug stores and many grocery chains. Please see the Where to Buy section of FungiNail.com.

Follow label instructions and apply twice a day for 4 weeks to treat toe fungus.

We are transitioning the entire Fungi-Nail line to contain 1% tolnaftate, the maximum concentration of tolnaftate allowed by FDA for an over-the-counter product. However, some Fungi-Nail products at retail contain the active ingredient undecylenic acid.

Tolnaftate offers a significant advantage versus other FDA-approved antifungal treatments since it not only treats most toe & foot fungus infections, but it also provides a preventative benefit as well. Treating and preventing fungus can help avoid having the infection spread to other areas.

Kramer Labs is in the process of updating the formula and active ingredients across the entire Fungi-Nail line. The active ingredient is changing from undecylenic acid to tolnaftate (an active ingredient with more benefits: it treats and prevents, unlike undecylenic acid which only treats) plus adding 5 natural oils to the formula to help restore skin health. The new Fungi-Nail formula has a cloudy appearance, which is completely normal.

It is recommended that you allow the solution to dry before continuing with your daily routine, especially if it involves water. To avoid the product washing off, it is recommended that you wait for Fungi-Nail to dry before exposing the treated areas to water.

We currently do not have samples of Fungi-Nail at this time. However, we do have coupons available on our website at www.funginail.com. If you do not have a computer or do not have access to the Internet, we would be happy to send some coupons by mail.

In order for our product to work effectively, you must apply on the skin of the toe and foot including the cuticle and around nail edges and tips.

Some people suffer from recurrent toe & foot fungal infections due to a variety of health and exposure related issues. Preventing athlete’s foot infections can help avoid having the infection spread to other areas.

Kramer currently distributes Fungi-Nail products within the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Toe and foot fungus can easily spread from one area of the body to other areas of the body if not treated properly.

If you do not see improvement in 4 weeks or your condition begins to worsen or persist, or irritation occurs, please consult your health care professional (doctor or pharmacist).

Fungi-Nail Pen contains enough medication for approximately 8 weeks of treatment when applied to one affected area (cuticle and skin around the nail). If you are treating more than one area at a time, Fungi-Nail Pen will likely run out before 8 weeks of treatment.

Fungi-Nail contains an antifungal drug ingredient to treat toe and foot fungus and is classified by FDA as an OTC drug product for treatment of fungal infections. Nail renewal treatments are cosmetic products marketed to improve the appearance of the nail and do not treat or prevent toe and foot fungus infection.

Each Fungi-Nail product uses a different style of applicator that enables you to apply the product to your toes without touching the medicine with your fingers. Fungi-Nail Liquid comes in a 1-ounce bottle that’s economical for treating more than one affected area. Fungi-Nail Pen has a pinpoint brush applicator to provide targeted treatment that gets the right amount right where it’s needed. Fungi-Nail Ointment provides a wider brush for greater coverage.

In order to help prevent fungal infections, follow these steps:

  • Keep your feet dry and clean.
  • Trim nails straight across and file down thickened areas.
  • Wear socks and change them at least every 24 hours.
  • Wear comfortable shoes that are not too tight so your feet can “breathe”.
  • Use an anti-fungal product as soon as you notice an infection to help keep it from spreading.
  • Select a well-known manicure and pedicure salon and bring your own instruments.
  • Do not trim or pick at the skin around your nails.
  • Do not walk barefoot in public places such as pools, locker rooms and /or showers.
  • Since toe & foot fungal infections can spread from one person to another and from one area of your body to another, wash your hands after applying any topical antifungal product.

All Fungi-Nail products are nail polish and acrylic friendly. Fungi-Nail is applied to the skin around your cuticle, around the sides of your nail, and underneath the tip of the nail where accessible with the applicator. Fungi-Nail is not applied to the nail itself, so it will not damage your manicure or pedicure. If you do choose to polish your nails, Fungi-Nail should be applied and allowed to dry before applying nail polish or acrylics.
